Friendship Guesthouse and Restaurant was built in 2007 and was completely washed away by a massive flood of the Alas River on 27th November 2025. The complete area of about 5000 m² with 8 bungalows, a large restaurant, a swimming pool and the private house vanished within few hours. The complete land disappeared. The basis of Ahmad's and his families live and income does not exist anymore. A reconstruction at the same place is impossible, because the Alas river have taken over this part of land.
His son ask Ahmad: "Dad, are we poor people now?" He answered: "Yes my son, we are very poor, because there is nothing left of our property and our source of income. But we have a family and many friends who will help us to change this situation to a better life again."
